PARENTING PROGRAMS

The Child and Family Team run a number of evidence based parenting programs, some in partnership with other organisations. Examples of the types of programs are below. To find out when and where the next parenting program will be running, please contact us:

CIRCLE OF SECURITY

This parenting program is based on strengthening parent-child relationships. 8 weeks for 2.5 hours per week

 

1-2-3 MAGIC AND EMOTIONAL COACHING

A course to help parents learn to manage difficult behaviour in children aged 2-15 years. 3 weeks for 2.5 hours per week each program.

 

PARENTS AS TEACHERS

Promotes early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents or caregivers.

 

BRINGING UP GREAT KIDS

A reflective parenting program developed by the Australia Childhood Foundation.6 weeks for 2.5 hours.

    The Canopy manages a number of well-equipped venues with a variety of facilities for hire.

Commercial Kitchen Commercial fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven. Crockery, cutlery and other kitchen equipment is not a standard inclusion and will only be provided on request.
